What are peptides and how to track them

Peptides often mean powder → liquid → precise units—plus rotation and supply. StackTrack ties reconstitution, Today view, and lots together so the protocol stays coherent.

Peptide basics

Peptides come as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder in vials. Before use, you add bacteriostatic water to reconstitute them. The resulting concentration depends on how much water you add and the vial’s total strength.

Example: A 5 mg vial with 2.5 ml of bac water = 2 mg/ml. For a 250 mcg (0.25 mg) dose, you’d draw 0.125 ml.

Why tracking helps

  • Dosing accuracy — Injectables require precise volumes. A tracker helps you calculate and remember the right amount per dose.
  • Reconstitution math — Concentration, doses per vial, and volume per dose all depend on vial strength and reconstitution volume. StackTrack calculates these for you.
  • Injection site rotation — Rotating sites reduces irritation and improves absorption. Logging where you injected helps you alternate systematically.
  • Cost per dose — Peptides can be expensive. Knowing cost per dose and doses per vial helps with budgeting and reordering.
  • Protocol compliance — Peptide protocols often involve specific schedules (e.g., every other day, 5 days on/2 off). A schedule engine keeps you on track.

How StackTrack handles peptides

  1. Drug library — Add peptides with category “Injectable” and form “Powder” or “Liquid”. Enter vial strength, reconstitution volume, and cost.
  2. Reconstitution calculator — Live calculation of concentration (mg/ml), volume per dose, doses per vial, and cost per dose.
  3. Programs — Add peptides to programs with frequency (daily, every N days, weekly) and time of day. Use ramp up/down for dose changes.
  4. Today view — See doses, mark taken, log injection site on a body map.
  5. Inventory — Track vials, quantities, and expiration dates.

StackTrack doesn’t replace proper reconstitution technique or sterile protocol—always follow safe injection practices. But it does make the planning, dosing, and logging side of peptide use straightforward.

Try StackTrack for your peptide protocol.
